These terms and conditions govern the provision of pet sitting services by Snuggle & Stay Pet Sitting.
We provide professional pet sitting services including overnight stays, daycare, and pop-in visits at your home. All services require a free meet and greet before the first paid booking.
By booking our services, you consent to the pet sitter entering your property and holding keys as required to provide pet care. You confirm that the key arrangements, alarm codes, and access information you provide are accurate and up to date. The sitter will secure your property on each departure following agreed security procedures.
The sitter will follow the feeding instructions and medication schedules you provide in your pet profiles. All feeding and medication administration is logged and timestamped. If medication cannot be administered as instructed, you will be notified immediately.
By accepting our emergency veterinary authorisation waiver, you authorise the pet sitter to seek emergency veterinary treatment if, in the sitter's reasonable judgement, your pet requires immediate medical attention. You accept financial responsibility for treatment costs not covered by your pet insurance.
We hold public liability insurance up to £5 million. However, we recommend that you inform your home insurance provider that a pet sitter will have access to your property during your absence.
Standard bookings: 72+ hours before the start date — full refund. 48-72 hours — 50% refund. Less than 48 hours — no refund. No-shows — no refund.
Extended stays (3+ nights): Full refund if cancelled 2+ weeks before. 50% refund if cancelled 1-2 weeks before. No refund if cancelled less than 1 week before the start date.
Subscription plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may pause or cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Partial redemption is permitted — the remaining balance stays on the voucher.
Photographs taken during visits are shared with you privately via your care timeline and visit report cards. These photos are never shared publicly.
Recurring booking arrangements may be made by agreement. Each individual booking within a recurring arrangement is subject to these terms and conditions. Either party may cancel or modify a recurring arrangement with reasonable notice.
For pets on diet plans or elderly pets, we may record weight at each visit. This data is shared with you through your care timeline and is used solely for monitoring your pet's health trends.
We are fully insured for public liability up to £5 million. We take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your pets and property. However, we cannot be held liable for pre-existing medical conditions, damage caused by your pet, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
